Wind Top AE2010 For MSI

MSI has officially announced its new 20-inch Wind Top AE 2010 All-in-One desktop, and since we've written about it on multiple occasions, it probably needs no introduction. Unlike the previously released Atom based Wind Top systems, the 2010 combines AMD 780G with ATI Radeon 3200 graphics and brings AMD Athlon CPU into play.

The new Wind Top AE2010 will be available with either AMD Athlon 2650e 1.6GHz CPU or a much powerful dual-core Athlon X2 3250e 1.5GHz CPU. Both will be paired with AMD's RS780G/SB710 chipset that comes with integrated ATI Radeon 3200 graphics with 128MB of DDR3 graphics memory. The 20-inch 16:9 touchscreen features native resolution of 1600x900 pixels.

The rest of the specs include up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, 320GB SATA hard drive, slim DVD Super Multi, 4-in-1 card reader, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 1.3M webcam, two integrated 3W speakers, six USB port s, one Gigabit LAN port, one eSATA port and VGA input and output.

The premium SKU (MSI Wind Top AE2010-02SUS), featuring Athlon X2 Dual Core 3250e processor, 4GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive will retail at US $649.99, which makes it a bargain compared to similar Atom based AIOs.

All of the AE2010 SKUs will be shipped with Windows Vista Home Premium OS with included free Windows 7 upgrade coupon. The new AE2010 should be available sometimes during next month.
